Green was a boy who went from crashing his way to the top of the world, to falling back down through the surface before he could sit on his throne. Raised in Pallet Town with his older sister and grandfather, the famous Professor Oak, Green spent much of his childhood doing two things: dreaming of becoming the best Pokemon Trainer there ever was, and bullying his only friend and only neighbor, Red. A bitter rivalry brought these two together battle after battle as their friendship diminished, sweeping Green's Championship under his feet as Red pulled it away. Years later, Green climbed back as Viridian City's Gym Leader, fighting Trainers with the same childhood ambitions, all while wondering if his old neighbor will also make a comeback one day.
